Irish star, Daniel O’Donnell, sings a sweet song to Mary of Medjugorje

This month of August,  the Irish television show For One Night Only, which takes an intimate and emotional look at a popular musician’s life story, punctuated by interviews with and performances by that musician, featured Irish singer Daniel O’Donnell. In this video clip, O’Donnell talks about his visit to Medjugorje and sings the song he was inspired to write while on Apparition Hill, called “Sweet Queen of Peace.” If you long to hear the lilting melody of a lullaby and drift into the arms of Mary, or wish to calm your whizzing kids, before tucking them into bed, I recommend playing this song.

The show was transmitted  on August 5, the date that Our Lady gave to the Medjugorje visionaries as her birthday.  “Sweet Queen of Peace” is one of 15 songs on the album, At The End Of The Day, recorded by  O’Donnell in 2004.
