On the 2nd of each month, Our Lady appears to the Medjugorje visionary Mirjana, to give us her message to the world, and in particular for those who do not yet know the love of God. Below is the latest official English translation as provided by the Information Center in Medjugorje.
Message of July 2, 2010:
“Dear children, my motherly call, which I direct to you today, is a call of truth and life. My Son, who is Life, loves you and knows you in truth. To come to know and to love others, you must see my Son in them. therefore, my children, pray, pray, that you may comprehend and surrender with a spirit that is free, be completely transformed, and, in this way, may have the Kingdom of Heaven in your heart on earth. Thank you!”
With the kingdom of heaven in our hearts, we can see Jesus, even in those who hurt us, persecute us, annoy us, even hate and reject us. How hard this is, isn’t it? This can only come through prayer. Prayer is the key to every miracle that will ever occur in our heart. What does your daily routine of prayer look like?

Message of June 25, 2010:
“Dear children! With joy, I call you all to live my messages with joy; only in this way, little children, will you be able to be closer to my Son. I desire to lead you all only to Him, and in Him you will find true peace and the joy of your heart. I bless you all and love you with immeasurable love. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
To live Mary’s messages with joy, does not come easy for many of us. When we’re eating bread and water on a Wednesday and Friday, and walk by an ice cream stand, or when things don’t go our way, joy can escape us, like air flying out of a shriveling balloon. Yet, Mary is telling us in this message that a supernatural joy is possible for all of us, in spite of our circumstances. IT IS POSSIBLE. Our Mother wouldn’t give us a directive that lay beyond reach. Let us believe then, and try to make a joyful heart our own, for joy and true peace are within our grasp.
